Michael Woywood was baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in 1990. He was called not many years later – and has spent the last 20-something years trying to decipher that call.
He has been a fundamentalist, an atheist, an agnostic, a progressive – a Baptist, an Epsicopalian, a Methodist, and everything in-between.
He has a passion for the poor, the downtrodden, the outcast, the troublemakers, the agitators.
He has an admitted self-righteous streak, and constantly tries to control his zeal in calling out religious authorities as “a brood of vipers.”
He is the husband of one, father of two and friend to many. He resides in Tennessee, until he decides to reside elsewhere.
